- Determine job requirements
- Comply with work health and safety (WHS) requirements at all times
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with SOPs
- Identify job requirements from specifications, job sheets or work instructions
- Select auxiliary system
- Identify installation site of system
- Select auxiliary system in accordance with job requirements
- Identify material structure and installation procedures
- Identify and verify associated installation/assembly plans/instruction
- Install auxiliary system
- Cut structural area to suit installation requirements, where applicable
- Fit structural reinforcement to suit job requirement, where applicable
- Prepare structural area for surface preparation
- Apply coating sealants and/or isolation materials to suit job requirements
- Apply fastening methods
- Apply installation procedures in accordance with job specification
- Apply clean work practices
- Test operation of auxiliary system
- Identify and verify test operation procedures
- Set up and use test equipment in accordance with testing practice
- Test system in accordance with specified operational procedures
- Record/report faults to appropriate authorities
- Rectify faults and re-test for correct operation
- Record and document final test operation according to SOPs
